Wow! Genoa City has lots of new faces headed our way! It was big news when we learned that Billy Flynn (Cane Ashby) was coming to The Young and the Restless. And since then, the names have kept on coming: Roger Howarth, Tamara Braun, Lucas Adams, and, most recently, Matt Cohen. Wow again, right?!
Adams is a Days of Our Lives alum who portrayed Tripp Dalton on and off from 2017 to 2024.
Of all the recent casting announcements, Adams’ role is the only one that has been completely unveiled. He will be playing legacy character, Noah Newman, offspring of Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case).
Who is Noah Newman on Y&R?
Noah was born on screen in March 1997. Robert Adamson is most known in the role, and Rory Gibson (Michael, GH) was the most recent actor to play him (2021-2023).
Noah has spent most of his working life within the Newman family sphere, working at family businesses such as Newman Enterprises, The Underground, and Dark Horse. He has been romantically linked to more than his fair share of women (like his father lolol), notably Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), Allie Abbott Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Noah was last seen on screen in 2023 before he and Allie left Genoa City in love and headed for their happily ever after. Which now seems to be over? Noah is returning to Genoa City and will be seen sometime this fall.
Who Is Lucas Adams
Lucas Adams was born on July 24, 1993, in Sherman, Texas. When he was just two years old, his family moved to the small town of Bells, Texas. He grew up with two older sisters, and both of his parents were college athletes, so sports were a big part of his upbringing.
From a young age, Adams dreamed of becoming either a professional athlete or an actor. In high school, he earned All-District honors in football, basketball, and baseball. He was even recruited to play college baseball.
Years later, as he made the move to Los Angeles, adjusting to life in LA was a major culture shock after growing up in a town with a single stoplight and no crosswalks. With help from his sister, he found work driving a U-Haul truck while pursuing acting opportunities.
Adams got his first break in a Toyota Tundra commercial. In 2012, he would then make his TV debut as Wesley in an episode of The Young and the Restless.
Since then, he’s appeared in several films and TV shows, but he’s best known for playing Dr. Tripp Dalton Johnson on Days of Our Lives, a role he held from 2017 to 2024. His performance earned him Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series in both 2018 and 2019.
Who Is Lucas Adams Married To?
Adams met actress Shelby Wulfert while working on Liv and Maddie. The two began dating in October 2015. They then got engaged in July 2021 and were married on October 15, 2022, at the Chateau Hiddenwood estate in Waxahachie, Texas. The two are also clear dog lovers, as seen via their Instagram accounts.
